Dentures are a removable prosthetic to replace missing teeth. We offer a range of different types of dentures to suit a patients individual needs.
Acrylic: Acrylic dentures are a fantastic way to replace your missing teeth. You can have both full and partial acrylic dentures with the option to add more teeth in the future.
Chrome: Chrome dentures are available in both full and partial again with the option to add further teeth if required. Chrome dentures are thinner and stronger than acrylic dentures. They are designed with a cobalt chrome framework which goes unnoticed by the acrylic teeth added. This is a fantastic option for patients who struggle with the thickness of the acrylic.
Flexible Denture: Flexible dentures are only made for partial dentures from a material called comflexin. On average it is around 1mm thick and flexible. This helps with comfort for the patient. The comflexin material is a transparent pink colour which appears more natural than standard acrylic dentures. You can not add teeth to this denture so we only recommend flexible dentures for patients with a stable mouth. (No gum disease or mobile teeth etc.)
